في إطار استراتيجية وزارة البترول والثروة المعدنية بجمهورية مصر العربية، الرامية لفتح آفاق جديدة للاستثمار وزيادة الرقعة الاستكشافية، وفي ضوء إطلاق معالي المهندس كريم بدوي وزير البترول والثروة المعدنية في نوفمبر 2025 مشروع المسح السيزمي ثنائي الأبعاد بجنوب الصحراء الغربية، وتبني نماذج اقتصادية مشجعة للمستثمرين في الأحواض الجيولوجية البكر، نظّمت شركة جنوب الوادي المصرية القابضة للبترول وشركة أرديسيز التابعة لشركة أركاس السعودية، ورشة عمل لتسويق مشروع المسح السيزمي الجديد بالمنطقة. جاء ذلك بحضور قيادات الشركتين وعدد من رؤساء الشركات العالمية والمشتركة، وخبراء الاستكشاف، وأساتذة الجامعات.
كما تم إستعراض خلال الورشة النتائج الأولية لمعالجة بيانات أعمال المسح المكتملة بمنطقة غرب أسيوط، فيما جارٍ استكمال أعمال المسح السيزمي بمنطقة الداخلة
وتضمنت ورشة العمل عددًا من العروض الفنية التي قدمها فريقا شركتي جنوب الوادي وأرديسيز، شملت عرضًا للبيانات الجديدة ومستوى جودتها باستخدام تكنولوجيا النودز الأرضية، إلى جانب استعراض شامل لعناصر النظام البترولي، بما في ذلك تحليل التراكيب الجيولوجية، وبيانات الآبار، وصخور المصدر، والفرص الاستكشافية الواعدة بالمنطقة.
As part of the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources’ strategy to unlock new investment opportunities and expand exploration acreage, and following the launch by H.E. Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, in November 2025 of the 2D seismic survey project in the South Western Desert, alongside the adoption of investor-friendly economic models for frontier geological basins, the South Valley Egyptian Petroleum Holding Company (GANOPE) and Ardiseis—an ARGAS Saudi company—organized a workshop to promote the new seismic survey project in the area.
The workshop was attended by senior leadership from both companies, as well as executives from international and joint venture companies, exploration experts, and university professors.
During the workshop, preliminary results from the processing of completed survey data in the West Assiut area were presented, while seismic acquisition activities continue in the Dakhla area.
The workshop also featured a series of technical presentations delivered by the teams from GANOPE and Ardiseis. These included showcases of newly acquired data and its quality using nodal seismic technology, in addition to a comprehensive overview of petroleum system elements—covering structural geology analysis, well data, source rocks, and promising exploration opportunities across the region.
