ARGAS and King Abdulaziz University Sign MoU to Enhance Collaboration in Energy and Mining
ARGAS (Arabian Geophysical & Surveying Company) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with King Abdulaziz University, to strengthen academic, research, and applied collaboration in the fields of energy and mining.
The agreement aims to promote joint research initiatives, applied projects, and the development of specialized training programs, while also providing internship and employment opportunities for university students and graduates. The MoU also includes plans to establish a joint geochemical and mineral analysis laboratory, supporting innovation and advancing technical expertise in the geoscience sector.
This partnership underscores ARGAS’s ongoing commitment to supporting academic and scientific institutions in Saudi Arabia, fostering collaboration with higher education to empower national talent, and advancing innovation in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030—particularly in strengthening the energy and mining sectors as key drivers of national growth and economic diversification.
أركاس وجامعة الملك عبدالعزيز توقّعان مذكرة تفاهم لتعزيز التعاون في مجالات الطاقة والتعدين
وقّعت الشركة العربية للجيوفيزياء والمساحة (أركاس) مذكرة تفاهم مع جامعة الملك عبدالعزيز ممثلة في كلية علوم الأرض، وذلك في إطار تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والبحثي والتطبيقي في مجالات الطاقة والتعدين.
تهدف هذه المذكرة إلى توحيد الجهود بين الجانبين في مجالات البحث العلمي والمشروعات التطبيقية المشتركة، إلى جانب تطوير وتنفيذ البرامج التدريبية وإتاحة فرص التدريب والتوظيف لطلاب وخريجي الجامعة. كما تتضمن الاتفاقية إنشاء معمل مشترك للتحاليل الجيوكيميائية والمعدنية، بما يسهم في دعم الابتكار وتطوير القدرات الوطنية في قطاع علوم الأرض.
وتعكس هذه الشراكة التزام أركاس بدعم المنظومة الأكاديمية والعلمية في المملكة، وتعزيز التعاون مع مؤسسات التعليم العالي لتطوير الكفاءات الوطنية ونقل المعرفة، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 في تمكين الكوادر الوطنية ودعم قطاعي الطاقة والتعدين كركيزتين أساسيتين في تنويع الاقتصاد الوطني.
