ARGAS (Largest MENA based Seismic Acquisition Company) is proud to announce that our ARDISEIS (98% owned ARGAS company) Egypt vibroseis crew has set a new world record of +41,000 VPs acquired in 24 hours, early March 2021.

This unrivalled performance, combined with a clean HSE record and a project completion ahead of schedule (despite prevailing Covid-19 pandemic), represents an outstanding achievement which was made possible  thanks to a close collaboration  between all ARGAS teams involved in this project, our Client Petroshahd (ENAP), and Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC). The dedication of our 100% Egyptian workforce on site made it a reality.

This amazing achievement of +41,000 VPs in 24 hours was done by implementing full-Unconstrained (BLENDED) acquisition with up to 38 vibrators in production at the same time.

ARDISEIS pioneered the BLENDED ACQUISITION (r)evolution in Egypt in 2015 and has been implementing it on all projects since then. Thanks to EGPC and several IOCs, we are proud to be the market reference for BLENDED acquisition, now recognized as the standard for seismic onshore acquisition in Egypt desert area.

For several years now, ARDISEIS Egypt BLENDED acquisition data has allowed our clients to better define their geophysical targets with a resolution never achieved before, while shortening the final image turnaround time and reducing their overall data acquisition costs.
